Mark Abrahamson received Bachelor degree
in Arts from San Diego
State University in 1976. He learned about the field of orthotics
and prosthetics while doing facial prosthetics for the Veterans
Administration Hospital. In 1983, he attended the UCLA certificate program for prosthetics, then went on
to Northwestern University in
Chicago for his orthotics training four years later.
Mark received his American Board for Certification (ABC) in prosthetics
in 1984. He became ABC certified in orthotics in 1990. Mark joined SCOPe
Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. in July 1998 and works out of our La
Mesa office.
Born in Burtonwood, England and having lived most of his life in San Diego,
Mark enjoys woodworking, rock hounding, and surfing.
