A native Californian originally from Folsom, Ellie Boomer, C.P.O, received a BS in Exercise Physiology and BS in Nutritional Science from the University of California at Davis. She continued on with post graduate education in Prosthetics from California State University - Dominguez Hills and then Orthotics from Northwestern University Medical School. She is certified in both prosthetics and orthotics by the American Board for Certification (ABC) and is a current member of the Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists.
Ellie completed her residency at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids Michigan. There, she received specialized pediatric training in cranial remolding helmets, scoliosis, and prosthetics with the Center for Limb Differences.
Ellie joined SCOPe in 2005 and has a personal commitment to make a difference in people's lives. In her free time, Ellie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, golfing, reading, and salsa dancing.
