Laura Franz, a native of California, became interested in prosthetics and orthotics in high school through a friend of the family. She obtained her B.S. in prosthetics and orthotics from University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, Allied Health Program in Dallas, Texas in May 2001. Laura completed her residency training at the University of California, San Francisco. She became an ABC certified Orthotist in 2004, and is a board eligible prosthetist. In her free time, Laura enjoys being out doors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
