Chad is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist and has been working in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field since 1992. He received his Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of the Pacific. He continued with his post graduate studies and attended the Orthotics program at Northwestern University Medical School, then attended the Prosthetics program at Cal State Dominguez Hills. In 1995 Chad received his Orthotic certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC) and in 1996 received his Prosthetic certification.
In 2001 Chad joined SCOPe and is the managing principal of the Orange office. His specialty areas include; working with active prosthetic users and his use of various orthotic management systems for pediatric and adult rehabilitation. Chad is involved with the continual use and implementation of computer aided design to enhance his O&P practice. He has completed many additional courses including; C-leg, Rheo Knee, Endolite, Adaptive Prosthetic Knee, Ossur Transtibial and Transfemoral, Myobock UE Prosthetics, Utah Arm, Advance Trainer CAD/CAM, Starband Cranial Remolding Helmets and WalkAide. Chad co-created the Physician Pocket Reference Guide for Orthotics and Prosthetics, he served on the ABC Orthotic and Prosthetic Education Committee and has served as a visiting lecturer at Chapman University Physical Therapy School and UCI Medical School.
Chad is a native Californian originally from Santa Barbara. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, skiing, golfing, surfing and composing music.
