After graduating from SDSU in 1992 with
a BS in Food and Nutritional Science, Ara became interested
in Orthotics when he tore a ligament
in his knee. Ara attended a certificate program in Orthotics
at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, California. He received
his certificate in 1996 while working for SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics,
Inc.
Ara enjoys spending time with his wife and two children
while finding time to surf, snowboard and golf.
