Barbara has a strong passion for helping others. After completing a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology at Texas Christian University, she began working in the out-patient and in-patient physical therapy department at Mission Hospital. Her keen interests in orthotics and prosthetics led her to an internship and position as Practitioner Assistant at SCOPe-Mission Viejo. In August 2005, Barbara attended California State Dominquez Hills Prosthetic program and returned to SCOPe-Mission Viejo to complete the year long residency. In September 2007, Barbara became a Certified Prosthetist and is Currently working in 3 of SCOPe locations- Laguna Woods, Orange and Mission Viejo.
