Crystal is a Certified Orthotist. In 2000 she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the University of Toledo. She continued her post graduate studies at Northwestern University and graduated from their Orthotics program in 2003. After completing her education, Crystal worked for several years in Michigan and worked closely with Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She received her certification in Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) in 2005.
In 2007 Crystal moved to California and joined the SCOPe team. She believes that working closely with other health care professionals as a team is very important in order to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes. She is a pediatric specialist and her areas of special interest include; contracture management, pediatric pathological gait, anti-spasticity and working with cranial asymmetries. She has also completed courses in; WalkAide, Bioness, Fillauer Stance Control knee, and RGO.
Crystal was born and raised in Springfield Missouri. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends and swimming. She is an army wife and has 2 children.
