In August 1993, after earning his Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from the University
of Texas, Southwestern Medical School, Robert joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics,
Inc. He became interested in the field of orthotics and prosthetics
while working as a physical and occupational therapy aide at
a rehabilitation facility in Arizona.
Robert received his certification in orthotics from the American Board
for Certification (ABC) in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. in March 1995.
In July 1996, he earned his ABC certification in prosthetics.
