Wayne Wilkerson's patients come from near and
far to experience his expertise in prosthetics. Whether a local
high school athlete, a national rollerblading sensation or a
colonel in the Jordanian army, Wayne's patients look to him to
improve the quality of their lives.
Wayne entered private practice in prosthetics in San Diego in 1974, the same
year he received his Associate of Arts Degree in orthotics and prosthetics from
Cerritos Junior College in Norwalk, CA. He also did postgraduate training at UCLA in 1976 and became certified in prosthetics by the
American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) three
years later. Wayne began operating his own company in Escondido in 1986. In 1994,
he merged his business with SCOPe and became managing partner of the SCOPe Escondido
office.
A native of Clinton, Oklahoma, Wayne enjoys spending time with his family and
playing golf.
