Kel is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist and has been working in the field since 1980. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from the University of Washington in 1980. He went on to complete 3 years of post graduated work in San Diego. In July of 1982, Kel, along with Loren Saxton and Tony DiSanto founded SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. In 1985 he received both his Orthotic and Prosthetic certifications from the American Board of Certification (ABC). Kel works out of the Kearny Mesa office and serves as the company’s president.

Kel’s service to the Orthotic and Prosthetic field extends beyond his work at SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. He is currently the Treasurer for the California Orthotics and Prosthetics Association (COPA), he is on the Board of Directors for AOPA, DAC, COPA and is on the DMERC Advisory Committee. As part of his commitment to education he co-authored “Spinal Orthoses in the Management of Spinal Trauma” which has appeared in both Spine by Rothman & Simeone and Spine Trauma by Levine, Eismont, Garfin & Zigler. Kel specializes in adult rehabilitation though he has had great success working with all populations. He is also certified in E-Knee, C-Leg, the TEC Harmony System, Ischial Containment Prosthetic Designs, Stance Control Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses (KAFO’s) and WalkAide. Kel has also been called to the aide of various different animals including a Chinese Tufted deer at the San Diego Zoo.

Kel was born in Medford Oregon but has lived most of his life in San Diego. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, running, cycling, skiing and playing tennis.

Tony is a Certified Prosthetist and has been working in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field since 1967. In July 1982, Tony, along with Loren Saxton and Kel Bergmann founded SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. Tony’s interest and involvement in the prosthetics field was influenced by his father, a WWII veteran who lost his leg in the war. In the 1940’s Tony’s father entered the emerging field of prosthetics and joined an O&P company in Ohio who pioneered new techniques and concepts in prosthetics. Tony worked alongside his father and by the age of 18 was designing and building artificial limbs. Tony received his Prosthetic education and training at both New York University and Northwestern University. He received his Prosthetic certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC) in 1974. He works out of the Kearny Mesa office and services as the company’s Vice President.

Tony is an innovative leader in prosthetics with vast experience and expertise. He worked on one of the first Myoelectric arms in the late 1960’s. He continues to stay up to date on current technologies and has completed many advanced courses in Myoelectrics and lower extremity prosthetics. Tony is well known and has a national reputation for his specialized skill in working with amputees.

Tony was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. He moved to San Diego County in 1977. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and collecting antiques.

Randy is a Certified Prosthetist and has been working in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field since 1972. He received his education at the UCLA School of Medicine and Cerritos Community College. He has been practicing in the San Diego area for most of his career. Randy has extensive training and work experience; he was a research Prosthetist at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Hospital, he was the Director of the Prosthetic and Orthotic Department at UCSD Medical Center, and he owned and operated his own private O&P practice in San Diego from 1983 until 2001.

In 2001, Randy joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc.; he works out of the Kearny Mesa office. Pediatrics and Upper Extremity Prosthetics are his specialty areas though many have benefited from his care and expertise. His experience has given him the insight and awareness that he can directly affect the quality of life of those he works with, this is a guiding principle of his practice. Randy has completed many additional courses including; Myobock, Rheo Knee, C-Leg, Marlo Ortiz Anatomical Socket Design, Advanced External Power Upper Extremity Prosthetics, and I-Limb. He is a member of The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, ABC and The Association of Children’s Prosthetic/Orthotic Clinics.

Randy was born in Inglewood California and has lived his whole life in Southern California. His free time is spent with his wife playing golf and skiing.

Brodie is a Certified Orthotist. In 2001, he received his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from East Stroudsburg University. He continued his post graduate studies at California State University Dominguez Hills; there he earned certificates in both Orthotics and Prosthetics. Prior to coming to SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. Brodie did his Orthotics residency at an O&P facility in Glendale California. In 2008, he received his certification in Orthotics from the American Board of Certification (ABC) and is currently working toward his Prosthetic certification.

In 2007, Brodie joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and works out of the Kearny Mesa office. He enjoys the challenge of working with active and athletic populations. In the future he hopes to work more with pediatrics and with new amputees. He believes that key components to providing quality care are to satisfy patient needs and do so in a timely manner. Brodie continues to build on his knowledge and has recently completed additional training in spinal bracing, knee bracing and reciprocating gait orthoses.

Brodie was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He moved to Southern California in 2003. In his free time he enjoys snow skiing, golfing and spending time outdoors.

Gavin is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. While attending Cleveland State University he was introduced to the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics and at that time decided to pursue it as his career. He has been working in the field since 1994. He received his certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics from the American Board of Certification (ABC) in 2004.

In 2004, Gavin joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and currently works out of our Kearny Mesa office. He believes that experience, knowledge and flexibility are important factors in providing quality care to his patients. He has had great success and enjoys working with all ages and populations. Gavin is also certified in WalkAide, Rheo Knee, C-Leg, Utah Arm and I-Limb.

Gavin was born in Cleveland Ohio and moved to San Diego in 1994. In his free time he enjoys snowboarding, camping, playing softball, ice hockey and golf.

Jesus, also known as Chuy, is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. He has been around Orthotics and Prosthetics most of his life as both his father and older brother work in the field. He began his career by working as a technician for 10 years. In 1991 he joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc.; he managed the SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. fabrication lab in Tijuana for 4 years. In January of 1999, he graduated from the Orthotic and Prosthetic program at Cal State Dominguez Hills. In 2001, Chuy received his Orthotic certification and in 2002, received his Prosthetic certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC).

In 2002, Chuy moved from the Kearny Mesa office to the SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. Children’s Hospital office and is the manager there. He specializes in scoliosis bracing, spina bifida and pediatrics. He was invited by physicians at Rady Children’s Hospital to participate in a nationwide multidisciplinary scoliosis study. He believes you must look at each person as an individual, recognize his or her potential and not be limited by their diagnosis. In doing this he has had a positive impact on many people’s lives. Chuy has completed many additional courses including; CAT/CAM and WalkAide.

In his free time Chuy enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, riding horses and growing vegetables. He also volunteers his time at a Children’s Hospital in Tijuana, Hospital de las California’s.

Stephen Gaw has been working at the SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. Children’s Office since 2010, after moving to California from the East Coast. Prior to that, he spent the past few years obtaining a Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (MSPO) at Georgia Tech, and completing a residency in orthotics in Atlanta, GA. Stephen became certified in orthotics recently, and is planning to begin a prosthetics residency in the near future and eventually become dual certified. While he is interested in all areas of orthotics and prosthetics, Stephen especially enjoys working with pediatrics.

Prior to entering the P&O profession, Stephen had worked for various corporations in the field of logistics and supply chain management. His previous education includes a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, and an M..S. in Business Administration from Penn State University. In his free time, Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife, playing and watching sports, and participating in various outdoor activities while enjoying the great San Diego weather.

Stephen is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University in 1993, Stephen continued his education at Century College in Minnesota where he earned certificates in both Orthotics and Prosthetics in their Practitioner Programs. He was certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1998.
Stephen worked in the field for 5 years prior to joining the SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. team. He brought much experience to the SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. headquarters in Kearny Mesa, working with adult and geriatric populations. In 2005, he assumed the position of manager at SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc.’s Chula Vista office and became an active shareholder in 2006. Some areas of special interest to him are working with individuals who have suffered from Polio and providing prosthetic care for adults and children. Stephen is also certified in the Utah Arm, Rheo Knee, C-Leg and WalkAide. He believes that having patience and listening to his patients and assessing their total needs are essential in providing quality care. He strives to help each individual excel in their daily lives whether this means conquering the mountains, going back to work or simply regaining their independence at home.

Stephen’s free time is dedicated to his wife and 2 children. They enjoy all the outdoors has to offer including; camping, swimming, hiking, bicycling and traveling the world.

Ramon is a Certified Orthotist. He became interested in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics after undergoing a below the knee amputation at the age of 13. He was inspired by his personal experience of being a BK amputee. In 1995 Ramon started his career in Orthotics and Prosthetics by working as an assistant. He has worked in the Chula Vista office since 1996. He earned his Board for Orthotist Certification (BOC) in 2004 and soon after that received certification from the American Board of Certification (ABC).

Ramon specializes in custom orthotic devices, primarily dealing with sports injuries, orthopedic/neurologic dysfunctions and fracture bracing. He believes it is imperative to stay up to date on new and upcoming technology and has attended many orthotic and prosthetic courses and workshops. He is currently pursuing his prosthetic certification.

Born and raised in San Diego, Ramon loves music and disc jockeys as a hobby. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going to the movies and having barbecues.

Pola is a Certified Prosthetist / Orthotist. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Ulster in Ireland. After graduation she moved to the United States. In 2005 she began volunteering at SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and proceeded with her post graduate studies at Cal State Dominguez Hills. She graduated from their Prosthetics program in 2006 and received her Prosthetic certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC) in 2008. She graduated from their Orthotics program in 2007 and received her Orthotic certification from ABC in 2009.

In 2007, Pola began working at SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc.’s Chula Vista office. She believes several key factors are important in providing quality care, they include; really listening and being sympathetic to patients needs and concerns, and keeping up to date on the latest technology and products in order to offer the best Orthotic and/or Prosthetic solutions. Pola shows great compassion and is inspired by many she works with. She always tries to go above and beyond in order to help each individual improve their quality of life. She enjoys working with all patient populations. Pola would like to focus and specialize in areas including spinal orthotics, scoliosis bracing and lower extremity prosthetics. She had completed additional training in Walkaide and Scoliosis bracing.

Pola was born and raised in Belfast, Ireland. She moved to San Diego in 2001. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, roller-blading, going to the beach and everything that a Southern California lifestyle has to offer.

Wayne is a Certified Prosthetist (CP) and has been working in the Orthotics and prosthetics field since 1974. While attending college his uncle, a certified prosthetist introduced him to the field. He received his AA degrees in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1974 from Cerritos Junior College then completed his post graduate work at UCLA. He was certified in prosthetics by the American Board of Certification in 1979. At that time he became 50% owner of the company he worked for and in 1986 purchased it and moved the company to Escondido. In 1994, Wayne merged his business with SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and is a managing partner.

Wayne has a special niche as he has developed a custom silicone liner for lower extremity amputees and has experienced great success with his unique fitting method. Patients come from around the world to be fit by Wayne. Some of his patients include; paralympic athletes, the first amputee to summit Mt. Everest, an actor/stuntman, the first cross country skier to win a medal for the U.S., a general in the Jordanian army and many many more.

Patients come to Wayne to improve their quality of life. He has earned many certifications including; C-Leg, Rheo Knee, WalkAide as well as many others.

A native of Oklahoma, Wayne enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, boating and fishing in his free time.

Chris is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. In 1990, he graduated from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Psychology. He received his education and training in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center and at California State University Dominguez Hills, he graduated in 2000. Soon thereafter he received his certification in both Orthotics and Prosthetics from the American Board for Certification (ABC).

In 2002 ,Chris joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and works out of the Escondido office. He enjoys utilizing unique combinations for bracing to maximize the potential in each individual and feels it is important to listen to patient input and incorporate their thoughts while making clinical decisions. Chris specializes in scoliosis bracing. He hopes to explore advancements and technologies available today and incorporate them to maximize patient outcomes.

Chris was born and raised on the East Coast. He moved to San Diego in 2000. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, skiing, music and being outdoors.

After completing his Bachelors’ degree from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2004, Rob continued his education at Cal State Dominguez Hills earning a certificate in both Prosthetics and Orthotics. Shortly thereafter, Rob was certified in Orthotics by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC). In 2010, Rob joined the SCOPe team working out of our Escondido Office.

Currently, Rob has a special interest in bilateral transtibial amputee as well as assisting the young active population with both Orthotic and Prosthetic care. In his spare time, he enjoys snow skiing, surfing, and spending time in the great outdoors.

Cory is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. In 1990, after receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Cal State Long Beach he served for 2 1/2 years in the Peace Corps in South America. That is where he was first exposed to Orthotics and Prosthetics as he assisted local practitioners by fabricating and fitting orthotic and prosthetic devices for the people of Paraguay. As a result of this experience, Cory is fluent in Spanish. After returning to the U.S., Cory completed his post graduate education in Orthotics at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, and then attended the Cal State Dominguez Hills Prosthetic program. In 1998 he received his Orthotic certification and in 1999 received his Prosthetic certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC).

Cory joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. in 1998 and is now the managing principal at the La Jolla office. He believes that keeping up to date on new technology and components is critical to providing quality care. He has completed many additional courses including: C-Leg, Rheo Knee, Endolite Microprocessor Knee, Horton Stance Control, WalkAide, MAS Socket, and Saebo Flex. Areas of special interest to him include working with scoliosis patients and with amputees. Cory is also involved with The Association of Amputee Surfers (ampsurf.com).

Cory was born and raised in the northern part of San Diego County. In his free time he enjoys being with his family, sunny days at the beach and surfing.

Tim is a Certified Orthotist. In 1988, he began working for SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. as an Orthotic Technician. After a couple years he began assisting and training with a variety of highly skilled Orthotists and Prosthetists. While working, he also attended Grossmont College and graduated in 1993 with a degree in Orthopedic Technology. He transferred to La Jolla when SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. opened their office there in 1991. In 2004, Tim received his Orthotic certification from the American Board of Certification (ABC).

Tim’s clinical interests are: sports-related injuries involving shoulder tears and dislocations, spinal fractures, knee ligament tears, and foot and ankle deformities. He has successfully completed courses in; Rheo Knee, Freeman and Silicone Seal In Liners and soft fitting Building Blocks.

Tim was born on an Air Force base in Virginia where his father spent part of his Navy Career. He moved with his family to San Diego n 1979. In his free time he enjoys playing ice hockey and golfing with friends.

Ara is a Certified Orthotist. He became interested in Orthotics and Prosthetics when he tore a ligament in his knee and has been working in the field since 1992. He graduated from SDSU in 1992 with a Bachelors degree in Food and Nutritional Science. In 1994, he went to Cal State Dominguez Hills for his Orthotics training. Ara received his certification in Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) in 1996.

In 2001, Ara joined the SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. La Jolla office. He came to SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. with many years of experience including running his own office in Vista for three years. His specialty areas include; pediatrics, spinal, lower and upper extremity orthotics. He has also completed courses in; Stance Control KAFO’s, WalkAide, Cascade DAFO, SaeboReach, Providence and Boston scoliosis braces.

Ara was born in Hollywood and has lived his whole life in Southern California. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, surfing, snowboarding and fishing.

Eddy is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. He became interested in the rehabilitation process and the field of O&P when his father became an amputee. Having received his BS in Biophysics from UC Berkeley, the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics provided him the opportunity to apply his education with biomechanics. He attended UCLA for his Prosthetics training and Northwestern University in Chicago for his Orthotics training. In 1988, he received his certification in both Orthotics and Prosthetics from the American Board of Certification (ABC) for Orthotics and Prosthetics.

In 1989, Eddy joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and is a managing partner in the La Mesa office. He specializes in pediatrics, scoliosis and lower extremity prosthetics. Eddy is known for his innovative approach and custom bracing, he has had great success working with difficult and unusual cases. He has completed many courses and has additional training in many areas including; C-Leg, Rheo Knee, Horton Stance Control, Fillaur Stance Control, Providence Scoliosis System, WalkAide, Harmony System, OOS and I-Limb.

A native of Santa Monica, California, Eddy enjoys hiking, horsemanship, gardening, carpentry, playing the piano and spending time with his family. He has been an active member of La Mesa Rotary since 1992 and served as president in 2000. In recent years he was appointed Liaison to the American Foot and Ankle Society and sits on the national board for the Lower Extremity Orthotics Society for the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics.

Mark is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. He received his Bachelors degree in Arts from San Diego State University. He became interested in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics while working with facial prosthetics at the Veterans Administration Hospital. In 1983, he attended the UCLA certificate program for prosthetics. Several years later he went to Northwestern University in Chicago for his orthotics training. He received his prosthetic certification in 1984 from the American Board for Certification (ABC) and, in 1990, received his Orthotic certification.

In 1998, Mark began working for SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. in the La Mesa office. Mark has extensive experience in both orthotics and prosthetics. His specialty is cosmetic finger restorations. He also has certifications in the following: Rheo Knee, E-Knee, Tech Harmony System, Ischial Containment, CAT, CAM, Oregon Orthotics Systems, and has completed a course in Life Like Cosmetic Restoration. Mark believes that good communication between the patient and practitioner is essential in achieving successful outcomes.

Mark was born in Burtonwood, England but has lived most of his life in San Diego. He enjoys woodworking and rock hounding in his free time.

Laura is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. In 2001, she obtained her B.S. degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, Allied Health Program. She completed her residency training at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2004, she received her certification in Orthotics and in 2006, received her certification in Prosthetics from the American Board for Certification (ABC).

In 2004, Laura began working for SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. at the La Mesa office. She has completed many courses including; Alpha Line, Pathfinder, TEC Interface, E-Knee, Rheo Knee, Seal in Liner, Saebo Flex, Saebo Reach and WalkAide. She is also a certified mastectomy fitter. Laura enjoys working with all populations, and would like to work more with the pediatric population in the future. She believes that having care and compassion and really listening to the thoughts and concerns of those she works with are essential to providing quality care.

Laura was born and raised in Fresno California. She moved to San Diego in 2004. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Bert is a Certified Prosthetist. He has been working in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field since 1982. He is a graduate of Shelby State Community College with a degree in Prosthetics. He also has a technical degree in prosthetics from Cerritos College. In 1988 Bert received his certification in prosthetics from the American Board of Certification (ABC). Bert owned and operated his own O&P facility in La Mesa until 2001.

In July 2001, he joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and became a managing partner of the La Mesa and El Centro offices. Bert specializes in prosthetics and has experienced great success working will all ages and populations. Bert has a very calming nature; he places great importance and works hard to ensure that each of his patients he sees feels happy and content with their outcome. Bert has completed many additional courses including; Rheo Knee, Myobock, Seal in Silicone Liners, Harmony Systems and C-Leg.

Randy is a certified prosthetist (CP). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1976 from UCLA. He became interested in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics and pursued his prosthetic training at UCLA after meeting then marrying his wife who is an above knee amputee. He has been working in the field since 1977. In 1979, he received his prosthetic certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC). He came to San Diego in 1991 and quickly established himself as a competent and devoted prosthetist. Prior to joining SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc., Randy was the Clinical Operations Director for Nova Care/Hanger.

In February of 2001, Randy joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and became the Prosthetic Specialist at the Vista Office. Randy believes that in order to provide the best quality care you must enjoy what you do and care about the patients you work with. He has completed many courses and been certified in many areas including; Sabolich Socket, C-Leg, Rheo Knee, Utah Arm, TEC Harmony System, Pathfinder Foot, College Park Foot, Flex Foot Systems, Silicone Suction Sockets, Seal in Liners, Endolite Adaptive Knee, I-Limb and Proprio Foot.

Marlin is a Certified Orthotist. He has been working in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics since 1974. Marlin worked for an O&P facility in Chicago before moving to San Diego.

In 1992,Marlin joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and worked in the Kearny Mesa office for 7 years. He then moved to the Vista office and has been working there ever since. Marlin believes that the following are key ingredients in providing quality care to his patients; good listening skills, a thorough evaluation, and staying abreast on current technologies. Crystal is a Certified Orthotist. In 2000, she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the University of Toledo. She continued her post graduate studies at Northwestern University and graduated from their Orthotics program in 2003. After completing her education, Crystal worked for several years in Michigan and worked closely with Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She received her certification in Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) in 2005.

In 2007, Crystal moved to California and joined the SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. team. She believes that working closely with other health care professionals as a team is very important in order to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes. She is a pediatric specialist and her areas of special interest include; contracture management, pediatric pathological gait, anti-spasticity and working with cranial asymmetries. She has also completed courses in; WalkAide, Bioness, Fillauer Stance Control knee, and RGO.

Crystal was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends and swimming. She is an army wife and has 3 children.

Randy is a Certified Orthotist. He is a second generation Orthotist and grew up in the business of Orthotics and Prosthetics with his father. He brings to his practice at SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and understanding of Old World craftsmanship with New World technology. He began working for his father in 1972, while still in high school. Randy’s father taught him the importance of a solid work ethic, and the value of dedication. He attended Cerritos College and UCLA for his formal Orthotic education but received his most valued education from the mentoring of his father. He received his Orthotic certification from the American Board of Certification (ABC) in 1978.

In 2001, Randy came to work for SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and is the manager of the Mission Viejo office. His experience is diverse; he has owned his own practice and has worked for small and large Orthotic and Prosthetic corporations. He has practiced in South Orange County for over 30 years and is well known in the medical community. Randy believes that his most important job is improving the quality of life of the patients that he has the privilege to work with. He is active in continuing education and has received specialized training in: Tracer CAD/CAM Technology; Charleston, Providence and Boston Scoliosis braces. Randy is a CCS paneled Orthotist, is a member of Mission Hospital and CHOC at Mission Medical Staff. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.

Barbara is a Certified Prosthetist. After graduating from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology she began working in the Physical Therapy Department at Mission Hospital. That is where she was exposed to and became interested in Orthotics and Prosthetics. After completing a volunteer internship in orthotics at the University of California at Davis, Tiffany was inspired to help people with physical rehabilitation needs. She continued her education in orthotics and prosthetics at Cal State Dominguez Hills, graduating in 1997. Tiffany spent the following two years working for SCOPe Tri-Cities office, completing residencies in both disciplines. She was certified by the American Board of Certification in orthotics and prosthetics in 2000 and 2001.

Tiffany spent part of her career co-managing an orthotic and prosthetic facility in northern California where she worked with patients of all ages. She provided orthotic and prosthetic services in acute care and outpatient settings and was a consultant at a local amputee clinic. After moving back to southern California in 2007 and joining SCOPe, Tiffany started a cranial remolding helmet clinic with two pediatric neurosurgeons where she treats babies with misshapen heads. She is also trained to work with neuroprostheses to provide function for patients affected by upper motor neuron injuries. Tiffany enjoys working with her patients of all ages and strives to provide individulalized and compassionate care.

A native of northern California , Tiffany enjoys cycling, camping, hiking and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Garry is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist and has been working in the field since 1984. He became interested in Orthotics and Prosthetics in high school when he worked during the summers at a friends company. In 1981 he earned his Bachelors degree in Physical Education from Cal State Dominguez Hills. He continued his post graduate education and in 1983 completed the Orthotic program at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center. Ten years later he completed the Prosthetic program at Northwestern University. In 1985, he received his Orthotic certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC) and in 1998, received his Prosthetic certification.

In 1998, Garry joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc.. He worked in the Mission Viejo office for 6 years, and then opened the Laguna Woods office in 2004. Carlos is a Certified Prosthetist and has been working in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field since 1976. He also has his BOC and ABC certification and is a Registered Prosthetic Technician and Cosmetic Specialist. He began his prosthetic career by working as a technician for 10 years. After gaining knowledge and experience in technical and fabrication skills be began working as a Prosthetic Assistant. In 1990, Carlos graduated from the UCLA Prosthetic Program. In 1993, he opened Life-Like Prosthetics LLC.

In October of 2006, Carlos merged Life-Like Prosthetics with SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. Orthotics and Prosthetics Inc. He specializes in the fitting of hip disarticulation and hemi pelvectomy amputees. His reputation for accommodating difficult to fit unilateral and bilateral amputees has earned him an international following of patients. Adults and children from all over the world come to him for their prosthetic care. Carlos currently lectures on Hip Disarticulation and Hemi Pelvectomy Prosthetics at Cal State Dominguez Hills. He also lectures at local high schools and tries to interest young minds in the high tech work of prosthetics. Carlos has completed many additional courses including; C-Leg, Advanced Myoelectrics and Upper and Lower Extremity Prosthetics.

Carlos was born in Argentina. He has worked for over 30 years in the field of orthotics and prosthetics. His experience includes working in several different countries and in many different settings. He worked in Argentina fabricating orthotics for a Children's hospital; he worked for the Otto Bock Corporation in Spain and Germany fabricating lower extremity prostheses and myoelectrics. He worked for 12 years in an orthotics and prosthetics lab in Baja. Carlos received his B.O.C. certification in 1996, and has worked as an orthotist/prosthetist for over 10 years. Carlos joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. in 2001, and currently works out of the El Centro office.

Michael is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. He has been working in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field since 1990. Michael first became interested in the field after spending time with his aunt who was an amputee. He attended Cal State Dominguez Hills for his Orthotic and Prosthetic education and graduated in 1999. He received his Orthotics certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC) in 2002, and his Prosthetic certification in 2003.

Michael worked as a manager for an O&P facility (Hanger) for 6 years in the Los Angeles area before coming to work for SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc..

In 2007, Michael joined SCOPe Orthotics & Prosthetics, Inc. and opened up a new office in Temecula. He enjoys working with all populations and takes pride in providing a caring, personal touch to all he works with. He enjoys working in all aspects of the field and strives to successfully address each individuals needs. He has taken many additional courses some of which include: C-Leg, Compact, Otto Bock Myobock, Flex Foot, Ohio Willow Wood, Oregon Orthotic System, I-Limb, WalkAide, Insignia and Hanger Band.
