Pediatric

At SCOPe Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc., we understand that pediatric patients are different from adults, and our practitioners are committed to treating them as such. Each child in need of orthotic care is managed on an individual basis, with a treatment plan based on their needs and goals. We also are committed to a team approach, and are in constant communication with patients, physicians, and therapists, to give each child the best possible outcome.

SCOPe Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. offers a wide spectrum of pediatric orthotic services. Our practitioners are trained and experienced in orthotic services ranging from prefabricated orthoses for infants with clubfoot or developmental dysplasia of the hip, to custom fabricated orthoses for musculoskeletal conditions such as cerebral palsy or scoliosis. We also service local hospitals for orthotic management of acute injuries and for post-surgery.

Our practitioners are trained in specific pediatric orthotic systems, including the Providence Scoliosis system, Charleston bending brace, and Orthomerica cranial remolding orthoses. We are also committed to continuing education, and our practitioners are continually learning and increasing their knowledge to provide optimal orthotic care. While all our certified orthotists, located throughout Southern California, are fully capable of working with pediatrics, we also have practitioners who specialize exclusively in pediatric care, such as our Children’s Office in San Diego. This enables SCOPe Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. to provide optimal care for your child, and gives parents options in where to find that care.
